Designer Yasmine Benhadj Djilali has designed these beautiful, mirror-covered, wall hanged "boxes" called Soft Targets. Aside from being an beautiful installation Soft Target can be accessed through an opening in the bottom providing a safe space for the "visitor", away from reality outside. Benhadj-Djilali describes Soft Targets "... are a series of hollow, man-sized objects – more sculptures than furniture – that offer an immediate escape from the surroundings..."

Even thought Soft Target were developed to offer privacy in open office landscapes, I would love to hang one of this on my wall and would love the story about "escape from reality" that goes with the design.

Benhadj-Djilali further describes her design as abstract, geometrical and that the mirrors make them blend into their surrounding.
