I find it important to mix up an traditional interior / architecture with some modern elements and vice versa. This is because I find that the mixing makes it´s more personal and customised.
Our apartment´s architecture is in traditional heirloom style and we also choose a quite traditional built on site kitchen.
Therefor I wanted to mix the kitchen up with some modern lighting and art. The lighting shown in the photo below are both from Flos. The ceiling lamp is called Aim and the floor lamp is called Luminator. Since I am quite picky when it comes to art it has taken a long time but now I have finally found and bought an art piece that I love and find perfect for the kitchen. Its a numbered photo by the french artist/ photographer Anne-Catherine Becker-Echivard. The photo has the funny name ”Penis crusher”.
